Hit the trails before you hit up the Festival!
We couldn't have a music event at a mountain bike park without enjoying the trails!
We’re inviting a limited number of mountain bike and music fanatics to bring their bikes and kick off the day by riding Big Hill before hitting the festival afterwards.
Shuttle places are limited, so grab your Gather + Ride tickets before they sell out!
PLEASE NOTE: Gather + Ride tickets INCLUDE ENTRY to Gather Festival. Ticket holders must provide their MTBA Membership Number upon purchase.
About GATHER FESTIVAL
Gather Festival is a brand new music, arts and cultural festival raising money for its local community coming to the Alpine Shire in February 2020.
The inaugural Gather Festival is a one day event bringing a number of artists to a hillside amphitheatre in Australia's high country. Showcasing the sweet valley lifestyle with live music, locally crafted beer and wine, delicious food, boutique market stalls and more, summer in the valley never looked so good. The day is a celebration of music, arts and culture, and of the mountains and valley. It reflects the ancient history of the area, the migration of the Bogong Moth and the bringing together of local people.
The idea for the event stemmed from a small group of passionate locals wanting to fill the gap when it came to affordable, fun and family friendly events in the valley. With the rising cost of insurance for not-for-profit groups, we’ve seen so many amazing events run by dedicated volunteers disappear from our annual calendar. We’d love to see Gather Festival become a drawcard for the area; an annual event both locals and visitors can look forward to and enjoy with their friends and family - no matter their ages or interests - year after year.
The event is a collaboration between the Champagne Club Kiewa Valley, Riff Raffs and Team Mount Beauty. Following the devastating bushfires in Australia in late 2019 and early 2020, profits from this year’s event will be donated to our emergency services.
So ‘gather’ your nearest and dearest and come and celebrate valley life with us!
